um, who approved this?
So, this is one of the latest billboards in my neighborhood. Am I the only one who thinks it's ridiculous that we are now not only too lazy to proofread, thereby allowing grammatical errors into publication, but actually embracing incorrect speech to the point that it has become the focus of major ad campaigns? Makes me cringe.
Apparently, it doesn't bother these two.

OMG...what a sad state of affairs.
This post made me crack up, though. :)
I think that's appalling from start to finish!
When you're retired, do you want to be like this, or like this?
I was at the store yesterday and a young girl (maybe 7? 8?) said, "Moooom, where you at??" It made my skin crawl. A few minutes later she proclaimed to her mom, "They is shoes!" And then a single tear rolled down my cheek and I held my red pen (that I always carry in my purse, just in case) tightly in my hand and slowly walked away. Okay, I didn't do all that, but I did grimace and feel a little sad. (And I do carry a red pen with me.)
You're killing me here...update, svp.
