nice car!
We just got back from a trip to Michigan to visit Brett's parents. One early morning, Brett and his brother Nick took me to Mackinac Island so I could run on the trail that goes all around the island. It was gorgeous! I could go on about that but I won't bore you with the details of my exercise routine. What was more entertaining was the good laugh we got at 7:20 am when we drove up to the ferry dock. We were paying the parking attendant and he's like, "okay guys, you can park over there right next to the truck and the nice car." We were all three intrigued by what this 19 year old considered a nice car. I was thinking Jag, I think Brett was thinking BMW. No idea what Nick was thinking but I am pretty sure it wasn't the burgundy Corvette that was parked there! So funny. We laughed about that ALL DAY. No offense if you love Corvettes, and just to be clear, I am talking about the kind you'd see cool kids driving circa 1989, not the sweet models that came out before 1980. Gotta love the Michigan perspective.

ironic since it's MICHIGAN - car capital of the US... but maybe not, since y'all seemed to all automatically think "imports" ; )

What did you think of Mackinac Island? We are hoping to plan a trip back there soon. Loved the story!
loved the island but it was a little different than I expected. Of course my favorite part was the fudge :)
