Please be seated...

I think we need to add some seating to the living room. Katie and Kyle were here this weekend and I could see there were some gaps. At one point, Brett dragged out our yoga mats for extra seating during a game of Scrabble and I had a hissy fit. Partially because of those rubbery eye-sores, partially because I am very bad at Scrabble.

I have been thinking 2 slipper chairs might be good, on either side of the credenza below the tv. People would not really sit in them to watch tv ever and we could move them around for guests. I have been searching all the usual suspects for good armless chairs and there is not a huge selection. Nothing jumped out. Until it occurred to check out Target. Motherload!

Check out all these cute options. Admittedly, they are not as cheap as you would think, but since none of us can ever leave Target for less than $100, are you surprised?

Whatcha think? Do tell.

I'm obsessed with Target furniture. Go for it -- I've been eyeing those chairs myself!

Target has begun furnishing lots of little pieces for the cottage, Monica and Adam have a few in their apartment as well! I love those chairs... had all I could do NOT to GP a pair with curved backs from the neighbors pile the other day... like I have room or the time to reupholster them LOL.

Don't forgot the beloved Ikea.

That's awesome! I love the teal one. Not sure what you decor is like, but I'm going to seriously think about for my own space. I've been looking for an armless chair with a little color and pattern. Thanks for the tip!

Sure, Jess! I thought they were share-worthy.
Ahh, Christine, the famous GP. Love it.
Lady L - they're sorta perfect, huh?

Love it! I need something like that for our new space, too! I am still on the mission for the perfect couch, though, so I am going to resist until I know exactly what the space I have to work with is like...

I also was looking at these last time I was in Target (which I love and never get to go to anymore...the only minus about VT). I love them and was thinking that they would be a great addition to our house too.

Let's all get the same chairs. Yes.

They also have some cute ones at Urban Outfitters. A little more expensive, but possibly better made.

P.S. Everyone should know that Tera's best word in scrabble was perhaps "had". And that I won.
